JOLECS provides an academic platform for researchers, educators, scholars, and practitioners to disseminate original research findings, theoretical perspectives, and innovative practices related to literature, education, and culture.

JOLECS welcomes original research articles, review articles, systematic literature reviews, and conceptual papers that contribute to the development of knowledge in literature education, literary studies, and cultural studies from local, national, and global perspectives.

The journal covers Literature Education, Literary Studies, Literary Theory and Criticism, Comparative Literature, Cultural Studies, Literature Teaching and Learning, Curriculum and Assessment in Literature Education, Creative Writing and Literary Literacy, Digital Humanities and Educational Technology, and Artificial Intelligence in Literature and Cultural Education .

JOLECS applies a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to maintain the quality and integrity of published articles.

The journal is published four times a year in March, June, September, and December. JOLECS accepts scholarly articles written in English.
