Publication Ethics

Sustainable Finance & Development (SUFID) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Akademi Bisnis Lombok. The journal is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and preventing all forms of publication malpractice. SUFID follows the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Core Practices and expects all authors, editors, reviewers, editorial board members, and the publisher to maintain integrity, honesty, transparency, objectivity, confidentiality, and accountability throughout the publication process. All manuscripts are evaluated solely on their academic merit, originality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal's scope. The journal has zero tolerance for plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, duplicate publication, authorship misconduct, citation manipulation, and undisclosed conflicts of interest. Manuscripts are screened using plagiarism-detection software, and any ethical concerns before or after publication are handled in accordance with COPE guidelines through appropriate editorial actions, including correction, retraction, or other necessary measures, to preserve the integrity and credibility of the scholarly record.

Duties of Editors

Publication Decisions

The editors of Sustainable Finance & Development (SUFID) ensure that all submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review by at least two experts in the relevant field. The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for deciding which manuscripts will be published based on originality, scientific contribution, reviewers' recommendations, and compliance with ethical and legal standards, including plagiarism and copyright regulations.

Fair Play

Editors evaluate manuscripts solely on their academic merit, originality, methodological quality, and relevance to the journal's scope, without discrimination based on race, gender, nationality, religion, political views, or institutional affiliation. Editorial decisions are made independently and free from external influence.

Confidentiality

Editors and editorial staff must keep all information regarding submitted manuscripts confidential and disclose it only to the corresponding author, reviewers, editorial advisers, and the publisher when necessary.
