Author Guidelines

The Journal of Economic Studies and Analytics (ECONESTA) welcomes original research articles and review articles in economics, finance, accounting, business, management, and related fields within the journal's stated Focus and Scope.

Authors must read the journal's Author Guidelines before submitting a manuscript. All submissions must be written in academic English, prepared according to the journal's formatting requirements, and submitted through the official online submission system.

Manuscript Preparation Requirements

  • File format: Submit the main manuscript in Microsoft Word (.docx) format.

  • Language: Manuscripts must be written in clear academic English.

  • Abstract: Provide an informative abstract of approximately 150–250 words describing the research purpose, methodology, principal findings, and contribution.

  • Keywords: Provide four to six relevant keywords.

  • Manuscript length: Original research articles should normally contain 5,000–8,000 words, while review articles should normally contain 6,000–9,000 words, excluding references, tables, figures, and supplementary materials.

  • Structure: Organize the manuscript according to the requirements for the relevant article type.

  • References: Use APA 7th edition referencing style consistently and verify all bibliographic information and DOI links.

  • Anonymization: Prepare the main manuscript for double-blind peer review by removing author names, affiliations, acknowledgements that reveal identity, and other identifying information where practicable.

Required Declarations

Authors must disclose relevant funding, conflicts of interest, research ethics approval and informed consent where applicable, data availability, and substantive use of generative artificial intelligence in accordance with the journal's policies.

By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that the work is original, has been approved by all listed authors, and is not simultaneously under consideration by another journal.

Submission does not guarantee acceptance. All manuscripts are subject to editorial screening and, where appropriate, independent peer review.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
